Two-time Minnesota Book Award winner Jack El-Hai will be speaking in CF 206-208 on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 4:00 p.m. Jack El-Hai writes books, essays and articles on the history of medicine, the history of science, and other historical topics. His latest book, The Nazi and the Psychiatrist: Hermann Goring, Dr. Douglas M. Kelley and a Fatal Meeting of Minds at the End of WWII won the 2014 Minnesota Book Award. El-Hai's 2005 book, The Lobotomist: A Maverick Medical Genius and His Tragic Quest to Rid the World of Mental Illness is also a Minnesota Book Award winner.
