Author EL Doctorow will be honored with the Library of Congress prize for American fiction this summer. Doctorow has been writing for 50 years and his novels include Ragtime, Billy Bathgate, World's Fair, and his latest, Andrew's Brain. All of these books are available in the Goddard Library, as well as many other Doctorow works. Other awards Doctorow has received are the National Book Award for fiction, the National Book Critics Circle award for fiction and the PEN/Faulkner award.
