MINNESOTA BOOK AWARD WINNER SHAWN OTTO AT UCR!!!

Shawn Otto, author of Fool Me Twice:  Fighting the Assault on Science in America will speak at UCR on Thursday, February 21, 7:00 p.m., Coffman Center 206-208.   Otto is an award-winning science advocate, writer, filmmaker, artist and humanitarian.  He is also the coproducer and screenwriter for the Academy Award nominated film, "House of Sand and Fog."  He writes for DreamWorks, Lions Gate, and Starz., and delivered the keynote address at the 2009 Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College.  Goddard Library is hosting this event which is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, and sponsored by Southeastern Libraries Cooperating.  Please join us for a very thought-provoking evening!
