We
are updating and creating additional new video tutorials over time. These will
be posted on the library homepage: https://rctc.libguides.com/library/ In the middle of the library homepage are Research
Guides and by Subject Guides, you will be able to find video tutorials that may
pertain to you. Also check under Course Guides for additional course specific
materials (example: FYEX).
We
also have video databases that have short tutorials that you may want to add to
your course material. As an example, under our “How To” Guides, Plagiarism

you can make an appointment. Just click on the Ask Us tab at the top of the
library homepage.
Goddard
Library subscribes to over 100,000 streaming videos. To access, from the library website,
choose the Videos tab and then pick a video service such as Films on Demand,
Swank Feature Films, Feature Films for Education or Academic Video Online. Most
videos are also accessible by searching our Books and More.. catalog by title
or subject. If off campus, you will be prompted for your STAR ID/password.
These videos are closed
captioned and can be put into D2L with a link or by embedding. Some have a custom playlist
feature whereby you can create clips of videos for your class. Students can
also create an account and create their own custom playlist.
