MINNESOTA IN THE 70'S

Perhaps you heard authors Dave Kenney and Thomas Saylor on MPR Monday morning.  They are the authors of the new book MINNESOTA IN THE 70'S, available in the Goddard Library.  A lot happened during that decade which placed Minnesota on the national stage and defined who we are today.  Stop in and take a look back!

TRIAL DATABASE: VETERINARY EDUCATION

The library has the database Veterinary Education in Video on trial through Dec. 5.  This database  provides access to an encyclopedic resource on veterinary science and care.  The collection explains more than 500 procedures and techniques across more that 600 titles, and covers clinical skills, explanations of conditions, and training on technology and animal handling.  Because it's delivered in high-quality streaming video, the collection provides insight into animal reactions and other subtleties that are often lost in text-only approaches.  Remember, with your UCR ID card you have 24/7 access to this and all other library databases.  If we receive favorable feedback on this trial, the library will consider subscribing to it.  Take a look and let us know what you think!
