GRADUATION DAY IS HERE!!!

"You are educated.  Your certification is in your degree.  You may think of it as the ticket to the good life.  Let me ask you to think of an alternative.  Think of it as your ticket to change the world."

Congratulations and best wishes to all of our graduates!

NOISE IN THE LIBRARY

The library staff tries to keep noise levels down inside as well as outside the library.  If you are experiencing any noise issues, please tell a staff member immediately.  During these last two weeks of the semester, we will be patrolling the library more frequently to insure the library is as quiet as possible.  We suggest the third floor as a good study area, or the Reading Lounge.  You may also reserve one of our seven study rooms for a two hour slot.  Remember these rooms are available during all hours the library is open.

Best wishes in successfully wrapping up the spring semester!

SPEAKER ON CAMPUS TONIGHT!

This evening, Monday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. in CF 206/208, Dr. Keith M. Swetz of Mayo Clinic will be speaking on "Balancing the Good of the Patient and the Good of Many:  Medical, Ethical, and Financial Considerations."  In 2012, Dr. Swetz received a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University Chicago.  He is very familiar with RCTC's Common Book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot, and will be referring to the book and how it ties into his work at Mayo Clinic.  Don't miss this very important discussion!
